Create shortcuts to websites

You can create shortcuts to websites on your device’s homepage.

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Go to the website you want to create a shortcut for.
3. To the right of the address bar, tap More   Add to home screen  Create shortcut.
4. From the dialog that appears:
   • Rename: Select the default name for the shortcut or rename the shortcut.
5. Tap Add.

Tip: Shortcuts with Chrome logo will open in Chrome.

Using Chrome 

1. Open: the Chrome app on your Samsung phone.
2. Navigate: to the website you want to add.
3. Tap: the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
4. Select: "Add to home screen" from the menu.
5. Rename: the shortcut if you wish.
6. Tap: "Add" and then tap "Add" again to confirm and place it on your home screen.

Using Samsung Internet 

1. Open: the Samsung Internet app on your phone.
2. Go: to the desired website.
3. Tap: the "hamburger" menu icon (three horizontal lines).
4. Select: "Add page to" from the menu that appears.
5. Tap: "Home screen".
6. Confirm: by tapping "Add" to add the shortcut to your home screen.
